Mirrors

Mirrors is a representation of one’s loss within themselves; an obsession of imperfections that has encompassed our entire being. That delusion has dismantled our internal emotions and allowed us to forget who we are. While viewing the portrait up close, the focal point, is on the damaged mirror; which illustrates the individuals dislikes, instabilities and imperfections within themselves. However, when taking a step back and viewing the portrait from afar, the person’s face becomes visible. Exhibiting how others do not notice the inadequacy and turmoil that someone is going through; they only see the individual as whole and not damaged.
